1. Without Words Movement :: Reclaiming Freedom through Dance

Without Words Movement is reclaiming freedom for those silenced by the global sex trade through the powerful voice of DANCE.

They are artists compelled to speak on behalf of the enslaved, demanding attention to the atrocities of the sex trade, advocating freedom and inspiring the next generation of abolitionists. With dance as their voice, they fulfill this by creating evocative performances and by providing creative experiences for survivors to receive the healing and freeing power of dance. Through their work, they seek to direct attention upon truths such as human dignity and the inherent value of life-truths that, if embraced, would sabotage the global sex trade and other abhorrent systems alike.

I’m so excited and enthralled for my great friends, Mikaela Clark & Mackenzie Valley, founders of Without Words. Their voice through dance and passion for seeing freedom come to those in the global sex trade is inspirational and compelling — join them in this fight, in this movement, to end the global sex trade through DANCE and bring freedom to the captives.

  2. Make Way Partners (MWP) is a non-profit organization “committed to prevent and combat human trafficking and all forms of modern–day slavery by educating and mobilizing the Christian Community.” Their strategy is to prevent human trafficking & modern-day slavery by caring for orphans and widows, who are the targets of such injustice in war-torn countries around the world. They currently are working in Darfur, Sudan, the DR of Congo, Romania and Peru.

This video will be shown at the Orphan Summit at Saddleback Church in Southern California in April 2012, presented by Christian Alliance for Orphans. Make Way Partners’ focus and mission at the conference is to round up the core of the Christian Church in America to begin to “adopt” the “Unadoptable Orphans.”

  3. I met Isaac Gill through a great opportunity I had last year with the group, Sex+Money, who created a full-length documentary on the sex trade in the US and toured to all 50 States screening the film. Though I wasn’t able to go on tour with them, I have made some great new friends and look forward to what the future holds!

He’s been an incredible friend, even though we haven’t officially met in person. Many phone calls and times connecting with him have been great.

PLUS :: His music is totally rockin’ good! (Take a listen here) He needs our support to make his full length album a reality.

SO… go and support him via Kickstarter!

  4. [This is the story of Jacob, a former drug dealer and human trafficker, who helped a Thai girl get free from the sex trade in South Africa as he was getting free from trafficking, and how he came to find Christ. He has now committed his life to rescuing victims of the sex trade, while he is running from his forming employer]

Thanks to those at Unearthed, a non-profit organization combating the issue of the sex trade at the root, working with other organizations, churches and individuals, to rescue and bring healing and restoration to those who are victims of the sex trade globally, as well as starting to work at cutting the root - the men, who are funding the global sex trade, either by being a part of sexually exploiting women and children, or just men and guys my age, who look and watch pornography every day (you might not know it, but your funding the sex trade).
